I am trying to find out about my grandmother Fanny Cooper who i thought was born in Willenhall staffordshire in 1880 but i now believe her to have been born in wednesbury, she married a fergus Bird in 1900. I have recently been given information by a cousin that points to her having been born illigitimate and that she was very close to a Abraham bRISTOW that i now believe was her stepbrother, i think that her mother was a Rhoda Cooper (her father was Benjamin) and she married a Mark Bristowin 1883 when Fanny was only 3yrs old. Although Fanny is listed on her marriage cert as fanny Cooper I think she was probably also known as a child as a Bristow.Does any one recognise any of this? there was also a Emma, edith, alfred, mary, and Annie in the family, thank you |
