Walkers of Bradford and Almondbury. I'm trying to find the descendants of Frank Walker who was born in Bradford around 1849, married Annie Potter, and had children Frank, Charles, Lillian and Kathleen. He was an organist and also secretary of the Tradesmen's Homes for many years. I'd love to find his descendants. Also seeking descendants of his siblings-- Ashley Walker, the well known cricket player who was an educator in Ceylon, and Rev. Arthur Walker, whose daughter Catherine married Rev. Sidney Hickox, and John Walker, born in 1837 in Bradford. Their parents were William Walker of Bolling Hall, a mill owner, and Keziah Wesley Stamp, from a family of Methodist preachers. I'm also seeking information about William Walker's parents-- another William Walker, born in Almondbury, year unknown,,and died in 1842, and Lydia Duplicy; or his brothers, Charles, a mill owner, and brothers Edward and Joseph, both vicars. I'd love to exchange information with anyone researching this family. Thanks! |
