i am trying to find the family of my grandmother Florence May Young, born newchurch, Lancashire, 18 july 1895. In the 1901 census she and a younger sister, Carrie, lived with their parents Alfred and Susannah Young nee Greenwood at Brittania, Lancashire. In 1918 florence was a Tram conductress and lived in Milner Street, Whitworth. She married an Australian soldier, named James Henry(Harry) Turner on the 27 Nov 1918. The couple left for Australia in late 1919. Any-one connected to this family from lancashire please contact me. best wishes, Warren Turner |
