SCOTTS IN KENT AND SUSSEX Would Valerie please contact me again again concerning PERCY EDWARD AND GRACE HIS DAUGHTER. Looking for relatives of my Grandfather, JAMES LEONARD SCOTT aka Jim, born 1882 Tunbridge Wells, Kent married in 1906 to Harriet Elizabeth DENYER (born 1880 Chislehurst). Grandfather JAMES LEONARD had 2 brothers; 1. WILLIAM ALBERT b 1867 Brenchley (1901 Census Police Constable Tunbridge Wells) m. to Fanny Dixon with two daughters VIOLET 1895, WINIFRED ALBERTA, 1900. 2. THOMAS b 1869 Salvington, Sussex married to Ellen and had 4 children, Ellen(Nellie)1887, PERCY EDWARD 1890, Frederick T 1892 and Albert William 1894. (Thomas'wife Ellen died in 1897 aged 28.) Thomas and Ellen's children were brought up by Grandmother Louisa Scott nee Harris in BRENCHLEY Kent 1901 Census. Ps Would love to find out what happened to Ellen, Percy, Frederick, Albert, Winnifred and Violet, all on the 1901 Census Tunbridge Wells. Have found that Percy married May Hayward in 1910 and their daughter was Gladys I Scott born 1911 but nothing else. Would apreciate any information about these relatives Angela nee Scott |
