Dear Rose.......Mary O'Donnell, who married Martin Maher from West Point, was a cousin of my Grandfather, Hughie O'Donnell. My GF was born in the cottage next door to where Mary O'Donnell was born in Meenacrieve, Co Donegal.

Have we ever been in touch prior to this about Mary O'Donnell( "The Long Grey Line")? Your name seems familiar to me.

Can you tell me more about how your Mother was related? If you're interested, I have quite a bit of information about that family, as I have been researching the families of Meenacrieve and other nearby areas for many years.
