John Smith Circa 1810 possibly born Stoke on Trent or within Staffordshire. In 1850 he was working as a wood turner in Stoke. His son Henry married Caroline Hawthorn(e) in 1850 at St Peters church in S-o-t. Looking for his wife and any other children apart from Henry. Henry and Caroline later moved to Hardingswood, Kidsgrove Staffordshire and I have their children, grandchildren etc.. too many to mention! There is also a link to canals, boatmen, saltmines in Cheshire etc I'm at that brick wall any help appreciated Nel. |
