Hey, I'm looking for my Grandmothers family. She is Sheila Dorothy Evans (formally Smith) born in 1938 in Portsmouth, her mother was Dulcie Violet Williams (formally Smith) born around 1916. All we know about my grandmothers father is that his first name was Herbert and he was from Weymouth, possibly in the army or navy. Her mother was born in Cardiff and was from a large family, my grandmother cannot remember a lot but she knows that her mother had many siblings, from two fathers, one Smith, one Ryan. Her grandmothers name was Emily, she married a Ryan and we believe these were the names of the Ryan children Edith: married a Wilson and had two children Joan and Diane. Doris: married a Harding. I also believe that the following children were Ryans as well, although I am not 100% sure. Arthur, Bert (believe to have died in the war) and John. The Smith children were Vera: married Cyril Bowie and had two children names Shirley and Beryl. Dulcie: My great grandmother, married Earnest Felix Williams after my grandmother was born. Grace: married a Len Dinnick and had 3 children June, Paul and Ralf. Linda: Had a daughter named Margaret and married a Beer (we believe) That's a bit confusing, would love to hear from anyone who may have an idea about this side of my family.
