I am looking for any information on James MORRIS b.approx 1820 ( location unknown) I have located him residing in 1841 at Crwt y gollen hall, Llangenny, Breconshire. He married Anne EDMUNDS on the 28/08/1849 and they had a son William John MORRIS in 1851. Both events were in Llangenny. James died prior to the 1851 census and I am unable to locate where he was born and other siblings. His father was also called James. James is my 3rd great Grandfather Also trying to find any relatives for William John Morris B.1874 Llanelly. Found on 1901 census still living with parents but wanting to know what happened to him then. It is known that some of the family who were carpenters moved to Brittany Ferry, Swansea as a result of a mining disaster in 1913. Also a possible connection to Conway Yachting club.My grandfather was known to visit his uncle or cousin at this location in the early 80's |
