Hi All I'am looking for the Taylors of the dover, kent area Anyone related to the following. HENRY THOMAS TAYLOR BORN ABT 1856 IN DOVER, KENT CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH TAYLOR NEE PARSONS BORN ABT 1855 IN CANTERBURY, KENT ERNEST TAYLOR BORN ABOUT 1878 IN DOVER KENT IN THE 1901 CENSUS THERE IS A SIBLING RECORD AS ETHEL C TAYLOR THAT APPEAR THE RIGHT AGE SO I ASSUME THAT IS ERNEST WILLIAM TAYLOR BORN ABT 1881 FLORENCE I TAYLOR BORN ABT 1884, IN THE 1901 CENSUS SHE APPEARS AS FANNY ON THE 1891 CENSUS ANOTHER SIBLING APPEAR A MINNIE TAYLOR BORN ABT 1883 IN CANTERBURY ON THE BMD RECORDS THERE IS A MARRIAGE BETWEEN MINNIE AND A ERNEST JONES, ON THE 1901 CENSUS THERE IS A MINNIE JONES. HENRY THOMAS TAYLOR BORN ABT 1878/9 IN DOVER KENT HE MARRIED ELIZA COULBECK IN 1897 THEY HAD A DAUGHTER FLORENCE ISABEL TAYLOR BORN 1899 IN DOVER, SHE MARRIED ALBERT SMART IN 1918 SHE HAD 7 CHILDREN WITH HIM, SHE LIVED IN BATTERSEA FOR A WHILE AND THEN MOVED TO CARSHALTON, SUTTON WHERE SHE DIED. I've been told that there are other siblings called Lillian, Sydney and Alfred but i've not found any evidence yet altough a family source said that Lillian married someone by the last name of Presley. from 1891 upwards to 1901 they where living at 170 Claredon place in dover, kent hougham, and that they where tailors by trade. any help or information would be appricated Hayley |
