Member Since: August 2003 Posts: 868 Send Message	Does anyone have a mother/grandmother Dorothy Peters born in Lewisham 1902/6.Daughter of Charles Henry Peters and Lily Maud Knight. Charles was a Tailor they had 5 children John Henry(known as Jack)George Ernest(known as Ernie) Albert Edward(known as Dick) and Violet ,Dorothy was the youngest born after the 1901 census but before 1905/6. Lily Peters left home around 1905/6 leaving Charles with the 5 small children all under 10.She was never seen again. When my grandad John Peters was still alive he would say that Dorothy married someone Charles disapproved of so she moved away and never contacted the family again. Deborah
