Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	Whittaker/Whitaker/ Smith Looking for information on Ada Smith b.1895 in Burnley. Her mother, Mary Smith (nee Whitaker) died in 1899, and Ada is shown as living with the Whitaker family of New Hall Street Burnley on the 1901 census. Her father, Joseph, remarried in 1903, went to live in Belfast and had another 3 daughters, one of these is my grandmother. None of the family in Belfast seemed to be aware of this half-sister. Any information would help! Thanks
