I am trying to find more info on William Jones,a Superintendant Fireman in the West Ham area around 1864. He married Elizabeth Jane Reeves and had a son George David born in January 1864 at Langthorne St., West Ham. George also became a Fireman and was believed to have been killed in an accident at the Fire Station at Plaistow around 1890-1900. George married Martha Ann Barton from Weston Colville,Cambs in West Ham in 1888, a month before their son John William was born. Do these names match? Or does anyone know where I can find the Fire service records for these 2 men? Many thanks for reading this far Russell |
