I am trying to trace my g g g grandfather James Young. As far as I know he was born in Bristol England in 1815. was Gloucestershire then I think. He was transported to Australia ( Hobart Tasmania) on 18/12/1829 arriving on the Mary 2 in Hobart on the 10/04/1830. He married Maria Hay in 1851, they had 11 children, from here I have the info. I would really love to hear from anybody with any info on James, as I and other family members are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I would love to know who his parents were and if he had any siblings, and other rellies. Thanks in hope for help. Cheryl :) |
