Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	WILLIAMS - PONTYPRIDD My Great uncle Richard William Williams was born in Bristol 29-4-1865 and moved to work on the Taff Vale railway. He married Mary, born 20-12-1869 at Carmel Baptist Chapel,Pontypridd 22-12-1888. They had the folowing children:- 1/ Stanley (1889-1891) 2/ Richard Gordon (1891-1950), who married Maude Eacott in Birmingham 5-2-1919, and was cremated at Lodge Hill, Birmingham. 3/ Gwladys (1892), married Lionel Percival Haydn Brown 6-7-1918. 4/William Rowland (1894-1956), married Sushannah Dorothy Painter 1918. 5/ Annie Laura(b.1897), married Huw Puw Jones 1922, and George Edwin Palfrey in 1935. 6/ Lilian (b.1900, married Frederick Mitchell 15-2-1945. 7/ Arthur Daniel (b.1904), married Mary Jenkins 15-10-1934. 8/ Blodwen (b.1905), married Leonard Edwards in Cleveland, Ohio, 1-5-1929. Richard William later married again - Emily Hetty Cornelia Avery 23-5-1938 and they had 9/ Rowland, who married Brenda, and 10/ Norman who married Colleen. (All at Pontypridd unless otherwise stated). I have more information, but this should suffice if any of their descendants are out there looking. Fingers crossed!
