My great great grandfather was William Burdett born c1800 and his wife was Mary Carr born c1800. I can't find them on the 1851 or 61 census' but I know they were still alive then. The Burdetts were from East London and Mary Carr was also possibly a Londoner. I can't find any info on her and would be grateful if you would contact me if you have Carr's on your tree - from the Newington area in particular.
