Trying to find infomation on a William cooper from nottingham. On his sons wedding certificate, his sons details Married in begrave leicester... march 30th 1918 age Name Rank Residence 24 john cooper Private Royal defence corps 14 roughton street Leicester 20 Florence bell smart Shoe machinist as above Farthers name william cooper Painter albert edward Private Royal engineers smart My grandad who is the grandson of william cooper and he informs me they come from shleton? or shaewell? Nottinghamshire. I have all info on the smarts but stuck on the coopers. william may have brothers who died in the WW1 anyone help? regards |
