I am trying to find out some information about Elizabeth Short b.5/1/1840 in London, she was the youngest child of Charles Augustus Short and Mary Stevenson. I know that she became an actress and used the stage name Helen Barry, she also married someone by the name of Glover. I am trying to find out when she was married? did she have any children? She died in 1906, I have been unable to find her in census records, I have found mention of her in historys of the London stage and have a photo of her in one of her starring roles in 1886, however she made out that she was a lot younger than she really was, which i would imagine would have been common in the theatre. Her Older brother Edward was my Husbands' great great Grandfather. Living in New Zealand I am reliant on the internet to find information, So would really appreciate any information anyone might have of her. |

Since posting this message I have found out a considerable amount of information on Elizabeth's life as well as finding other relatives who have been researching her also. |
