I am trying to find my mother's sisters. My mother's maiden name was Irene Margaret King and was born in Birmingham in 1938. When she was around 4 years old, her and her sister Betty was placed in a childrens home in Birmingham, where they lived until they were of school leaving age. She also has a sister called Elsie. My mother married James Walker in Birmingham around 1959 and soon after moved to London at which time she lost contact with her sisters and hasn't seen them since. I would be delighted to receive contact from anyone who knows Betty or Elsie King born in Birmingham in the 1930's. |
