Hi everyone, I am trying to find my grandmother, LILIAN SARAH SMITH, born 25th April 1897/98 Her father was John Smith, and he had died by the time of her marriage. She married THOMAS HENRY HAWTHORN 1st September 1917 and they had four children, Thomas Edward, (aka Ted) Lilian (my mother) Charles Wilfred (aka Wilf) and Raymond. Wilf is the only one still alive now, and he is in his 80's and with failing memory. He doesn't remember either of his maternal grandparents, and believes they were both dead before he was born (about 1924/25) My grandmother had two sisters, Florrie and Minnie, and a brother Richard, who was placed in a Mental institution in Lancaster at some time in his life. As far as I know they were all born in Liverpool, probably around West Derby, Everton, Anfield areas. Any help would be appreciated as I am having real difficulties trying to trace these family members. Kind regards, Lilian |
