I am interested in Cyril EDWARDS who was born at Charlton Mackrell, Somerset in 1902. Cyril moved to Australia and family stories say he lived at Ferntree Gully, Victoria, which is now a suburb of Melbourne. Cyril is known to have visited his uncle Joseph Edwards at Forbes NSW sometime during the 1930s and later. My dad who was born in 1926 remembered Cyril visiting them in Forbes. Joseph and Cyril called themselves cousins but Cyril's father was Joe's brother so they were really uncle and nephew. I cannot locate a death for Cyril either in Australia or the UK. Did he return the England? Did he ever marry? Lynda |
