My grandmother, Mary Elizabeth, born 22/10/11 in County Durham. Her parents were not married when she was born. Her mother's name was Brewster and her father's was Carr. She had 1 younger sister called Florence. The two girls were seperated, as their mother died soon after Florence was born. Florence lived with their father after he remarried, but he died aged 33 years. My grandmother was placed with thier grandparents ? name. She married Wiilliam John Sambells August 1938. Any information about her parents, or any other ancestors, would be most welcome. Thank you. |
