hi, i am looking for any information regarding my dads mum and her family. her name was dorothy mary jones (possibly known as dolly), she was born in liverpool in 1903 and married a patrick raftery. died in 1970 her mother was a mary dorothy jones :- 1879 - 1972 (known possibly as dora and later as mrs moran) and quite likely had dorothy mary out of wedlock. she then married a jack (john) moran in 1919 and had 2 more daughters eileen who married a bert corner and christine who married a billy conner. i am told that she was a 'maid' to jack prior to becoming romantically involved mary dorothy also had a sister called mathilda (tilly) - im not sure if that was her first name. she moved out of liverpool city and had a field were people could camp, later caravans i believe. any info would be much appreciated, this is all my dad knows. thanks sara |
