From information gathered from the 1881 and 1901 censuses there was an extensive family. Frederick Chapman b1839, wife Mary Ann Day, sons Alfred b1860, Charles b1863 (my great grandfather), John b1870 and daughters Annie b1870, Emily b1875 and Elizabeth b1878. Charles married Mary Ann Hull and as of 1901 had sons Frederick James b1889 (my grandfather), Percy James b1891 and Abert Willie b1899, daughter Hilda Daisy b1896. Frederick James married Agnes Bennett and had twelve sons and daughters.Irene, b1912 married Walt Risely, Percival, b1914 married Irene Gravestock, Alfred, b1916 married May Cox, Frederick, b1917 died as an infant,Agnes (Evelyn) b1918 married Colin Anderson, Janet, b1920 married Arthur Mason, Winifred b 1922 married Stephen Hill, Hilda, b 1924 married Len Simms, Frederick, b1926 married Violet (?), Sheila, b1928 married John McInerney, Walter (Wally), b 1929 married Christina Jean Smith, Marion, b 1933 married Ernest Lea.
