Trying to find Chapman

I have started looking in the obvious places but I have not been able to find a PHILIP CHAPMAN. I have guessed he may have been born in c1850. He was my Great Grandfather. My Grandmother was FLORENCE MABEL TUNMORE nee CHAPMAN. She married in 1917 and her father Philip was deceased by then and his occupation when alive was Flour Mill Manager. My Grandmother was living in Harlesden N W London, may have been Middlesex at the time. My Grandmother died in 1922 twenty years before I was born so I know very little about the Chapman Family. I am also having difficult in finding her birth certificate which would of course give me more info. Thank you Vanessa
