Hi i am trying to find any information on my great great grandfather David Morris 1825? his wife was Sarah 1824? he was born in carmarthon or monmouthshire wales she was born in france and probably lived in staffordshire at some point . they also lived in eston junction middlesbrough on 1861-71-81 census they had10 children George,Thomas,Elizabeth,Edward,John Anne,David,Benjamin,Mary and Harriet. on the1881 census they nephew James Lewis born in wales lived with them .on there1861 census Mary Sockelt appears as mother probably of Sarah born in shropshire she was a dressmaker. Anne was my great grandmother she married Daniel Mccormick they had 3 sons Daniel, John, and David. Anne died in childbirth david my grandfather was adopted by Annes brother Benjamin and was also known as David morris . Daniel went to live in canada . i think John went somewhere in leeds. greatful for any information regards Irene |
