Trying to Find Richard John Young

Hi am trying to find a trace of my grandfather RICHARD JOHN YOUNG to start searching his line and to find out what happened to him. He was born around 1905 and married my nan, Lilian Doris Altria, in 1930. They had 5 children together - 2 girls followed by 3 boys. They separated (I think they may have got divorced but not sure!) when the children were very small (ie mid - late 40's). I believe he set up home with another woman. Are you part of his new family?

I have been told that his father's name may have been SAMUEL WILLIAM, who is supposed to have a stablehand/groomsman in the Queen Victoria's household and his mother is possibly PAULINE MARIA (surname unknown) and born in SWITZERLAND. She was a seamstress, again possibly to Queen Victoria. However, the royal connection is more than likely a figment of my nan's very active imagination!!!!

I believe he lived around the the St PANCRAS area in his early life, but am unsure if he came from that area. He was a stonemason by trade, although I have seen a photo of him standing next to a dray horse. Not a lot to go on but if anyone has any info it would be appreciated and be of great help! I would especially like to know what became of him. Thanks Melissa
