HELP!! Completely at a loss on this one my grnd father was Edward Cyril Chapman born we think 7/7/1910 possibly in bristol died in blanford dorset in 1967/68 poss jun to sept cant find either in any BMD index anywhere any ideas???? We know his father was Joseph and unsure of his mother but she remarried sometime between 1914 and 1920 she had another son Samuel his surname was white born in bristol.. aparently so family stories go my gfather was kicked out of the family for marrying below his station and having a shotgun wedding as my gmother Lillian ellis from Blanford was pregnant with my uncle kenny at the time. The witnesses at the wedding were Albert Chapman and Dora Bastable.. Any help at all would be great thanks shirley |
