Trying to find Smith

I am trying to find any connection for the following Smiths who lived in or close to Minster, Acol & Monkton in the Isle of Thanet (Kent). John c1838 (one oe 22 siblings), his wife Jane Nixon c1838, They were married at Minster c1865. Children Florence, Rosa (died 1970), Tom (believed emigrated to South Africa), Jack (married a Rosina), Edward (Ted), Ernest (my grandfather)(married Ada Warren), Arthur and John. Ernest lived in Acol,Minster Eastry,Dover and areas and his unmarried daughters (Sophia and Florence (winnie)) still lived in Minster until they died (1985-95) . Also looking for connection for Edith Waterman (1986 - 1921)(adopted/ fostered/ cared ) for by Ada Warren (and Ernest) before she married Ernest in 1905 - was she daughter of sister/sister in law who died in child berth? Who in their right mind looks for needled in the Smith haystacks? Norman Norman |
