nudge Anyone connected to SMITHS in the Portsmouth area. There were four brothers Ted, Cyril, Harry, Ron and one sister Dora -these are all now deceased but had children except Harry. Ted had 2 boys and 2 girls (Gosport area), Ron had 2 boys Michael and Gerald (Sidcup or Didcot area), Dora had Betty (deceased) and Donald. Cyril had Kenneth, Christopher and Pauline (me.) If any of this rings any bells please contact me. Granddad Smith was born in SIERRA LEONE - WEST AFRICA (1875) and his father George William Smith was born in Guyana (1843) and as these were births abroad I am having difficulty in obtaining birth certificates so any info would be appreciated. |
