Find Ancestors

is a long shot , but i am trying to trace any relations of Arthur Smith born 3rd March 1894?.possibly from lancashire (Colne or Burnley areas),his fathers name was John , and his occupation was stone quarry man.John died when Arthur was very young, he went to live with a brother, then left there and went to Halifax or maybe Heptenstall area to live with another brother when he was about 10 years old,his family were supposedly related to Pickards who used to work on thefairs selling potato chats? Arthur previously widowed before he married my grandmother Hannah Watson, in Feb1924, at Halifax register office. they had 7 children Pauline who died aged about 18months, ,,,Marian, who married James Croft, ,,,Triplets who died within a couple weeks of their birth,,,, Barbara,who married Brian Haigh,,,, and Norma who married Trevor Culpan(my parents). Arthur also had 3 children to his previous wife,who i don't know the name of, but the names of the children were Ethel, Norman and William known as (willie or Bill) they lived with my grandparents for a while, any infomation would be gratefully received as i seem to be stuck at a brick wall thankyou Gail.
