hi i am trying to find any information i can about my great grandfather, hi name was STANLEY YOUNG and he was born in SUNDERLAND / DURHAM area about 1896, he had 3 other brothers called CHARLES, HARRY and JAMES all born in sunderland area. his mother was called ELIZABETH but i do not know what the fathers name was. His parents seperated about 1899 and elizabeth moved to middlesbrough with the 2 youngest sons (JAMES and STANLEY) and the older brothers stayed with the father in sunderland. ELIZABETH married JOHN WHITE around 1900 in MIDDLESBROUGH and they had 4 daughters together ELIZABETH(known as LIZZY?) b.1901c, MARGARET(known as MAGGIE) b 1902c, ANNIE b 1904c AND EVELYN/EVELINE b 1908c. I KNOW THAT STANLEY YOUNG MARRIED ANN REES MORGAN in middlesbrough 1919 and that JAMES married WINIFRED SHARP also in middlesbrough 1919. MARGARET WHITE MARRIED ROBBIE KNOX ANNIE WHITE MARRIED KEN KIRBY EVELYN MARRIED A ALBERT LOUCOCK ? JAMES YOUNG was also quite a good BOXER years ago ! and he is on the pre war british boxing list any information on any of these people would be great as i seem to have hit a brick wall with this branch Nikki x |
