I know its a long time since you posted this. I am also trying to find a peter j hickling, born to claude hickling and gertrude rowlstone. He was born in nottingham in 1930 and wondered if there was any connection between the families.

I am trying to trace what happened to IRENE WINIFRED HICKLING who was born in Nottingham in 1920. She married my uncle Harold Johnson in Nottingham in September 1945. She had 1 son, Michael Graham Johnson, born in November 1947. I believe Irene remarried but have no details. I have not seen or heard from my cousin Michael for 20 years so I would love to find out what happened to him. If anyone can help then please get in touch.
