Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 6 Send Message	Hi all need help in tracing my grandfathers kin, if possible. His name was Herbert Leo Flynn c1881, (As shown on my fathers wedding certificate, although further down the line it shows his name as being Herbert A. Flynn). He had brothers, Robert c1867, Christopher c1870, Frederick c1871 and Francis c1874 sisters, Mary c 1866, Gertrude c1877, Ada c1878, Annie c1879, Maud c1884 and Minnie c1885. All born in Liverpool. I'm afraid that is all I know about his brothers and sisters at this time. My g.grandfather Nicholas Flynn c1838, was born in Ireland, as was his sisters Mary c1837, Rosanna c1839 and Margaret c1845, and his wife Annie c1845, (as stated in census, But believe it could be Ann) My g.g.grandfather Nicholas Flynn c1805, and his wife Mary c 1807, were both born in Ireland. I currenltly have no idea where in Ireland they originated, as all references just state, 'Ireland'. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herbert himself had 5 children Gladys, Herbert, Mabel, Ann and Austin (my father). (between 1905-1924) He was a ships engineer or chief engineer, not sure which. Any help would be greatly appreciated best regards to all Austin Flynn
