Find Ancestors

Please I need help to find the death of my grandfather James Williams,born about 1897? Liverpool (Kirkdale) England.His Fathers name was also James Williams(deceased at the time of his son's wedding on the 3rd December 1923 his occupation was Marine Fireman)Also at the time of James junior's wedding his occupation was corporation tramways disinfector,and his address at this time was 32 Rosalind St. Kirkdale.I have the wedding certificate of my grandfather James and grandmother Jessie Brown Murray(she lived at 16 Juliet st. Kirkdale at the time of the marriage but even with help of a transcriber I have not been able to locate James(1897)birth or death.James jrn. ?had died when my Grandmother, daughter(my mother) and her son migrated to Australia in late 1939.The family have told me how lovely he was but have not given me his birth or death dates.One of their children(sex not known) was killed in a car accident when 6 years old,I wonder if both father and child died in this accident.This child may have been born before the marriage. Any help would be appreciated,in family history time it is so close but so far away.many thanks. Janet.
