Hi out there, I'm trying to find my great-grandfather John Smith - a fairly unusual name! He married Janet Orr in 1904, in Broxburn, West Lothian. They had 4 children - Ellen, John, David & Janet. He and Janet were either divorced or separated - nobody in the family knows. His parents were David Smith and Margaret Miller - I've no idea where they came from or where John was born. John & Janet were both in service in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire at the time of their wedding. If anybody out there knows anything please get in touch. Thanks, Anne |
