Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	My grandfather's first wife was Alice Cook. She died before 1890, by my guess, and family hearsay was that she may have had 2 or 3 daughters. My grandfather was a commercial traveller, and it is likely any children were brought up by her family. They were Irish, and it is said that grandad was originally from Limerick, but I can't verify this. His name was William Gracy Norton Chappelle, and he was born in 1855. I've previously posted here, but I got Alice's name wrong. Andrea
