EMERY YOUNG b c1835 ? England or Scotland - sorry cannot be more specific. d in South Australia. Would appreciate ANY info that could help me find out more about Emery Young and his family, prior to him emigrating to Australia. I have been unable to find his place of origin, or his parent's names, to get past the dead end I'm currently at. He is my gggrandfather, and married 1856 in South Australia, Mary Ann CASTLE b c1837 in England, daughter of Charles and Sarah Castle who also emigrated. I have info since his marriage including details on his 14 children, thanks to some wonderful GR people who helped me enormously. Some of the children's names include: Adelaide Sarah Young Electy Young Annie Young Bessie Young Francis young George Young James Emery Young Janet Emily Young (my gggrandmother) John Young x 2, one appears to have died in infancy. Mabel Young Marion (Mareon) Young Stephen Young Wealthey Young I hoped that with the name Emery, someone may recognise it or any family names in the list of their children, and be able to help.
