WALTER GEORGE COOPER was my father he died in jan 1976 in kings lynn, at the time he was married to my mother Patricia Ann Cooper , I am trying to piece together his movements before his move to kings lynn, I know he was in the RAF ( I was born at the RAF base in germany) so he and mum and me as a young child spent some time over there , I know he was based at RAF kinross and that my infant brother adrian died there and is buried somewhere in kinross I know dad had lived at Kinross in scotland and that there he was previously married to a lady with the name Elizabeth Marshallsey , they had 3 children denise , walter , and terry (we are still looking for terry who may have learning difficulties). what confuses me is my dad was known as 'jock' he had a very very broad scottish accent BUT his birth certificate says he was born in Hampshire, his dad was called albert( I only met him once) I am also trying to find dads brother Raymond cooper who may or may not be still alive. Does this sound familiar to you , are you the Terry from scotland (or his carer) are you a relative of Raymond Cooper brother of walter george . can you fill in any of the gaps or explain why dad had a broad scottish accent but was born many many miles awayfrom scotland. any info would be appreciated Ian John Cooper. |
