Hi everyone I am trying to trace my maternal grandmother she was born in bermondsey i think in 1905, her name was Rosina Grace Smith, she married my grandfather William Walter Rose in June 1927. they lived in Russel Scot buildings in bermondsey at the time of their marriage. She was also known as Rose/Rosie. she later divorced my grandfather, and we believe she married again and had a child a daughter we think, they lived in Bromley possible new married surname of phelps. She used to run a haberdashers stall in and around deptford market in the 40's-60's.She had my mother Vera in 1933 and my uncle Tony a few years before in 1929. If this matches with anyone out there, or you think you have any information about Rosina or her daughter we would be greatly appreciated. Sandra |
