Hello again Calling any Pimlott's with Canadian links, I am looking for anyone, who could have any links with Pimlott's that emmigrated from Staffordshire to Canada at the turn of the centuary. I am looking for a John and Mary Pimlott, moved to Victoria. John had a dog called Bambi if thats any help. Regards Mark

Hi Mark,
My mother's maiden name was Pimlott and she was born in Liverpool in 1905. She had a brother who emigrated to Canada I believe Vancouver in early part of 20th Century.

Hi Mark, me again now I've got sorted with the upgrade for 1 month. My name is Alex Mellows and I remember your mum Joan very well.As a family we used to visit L/Pool every year from Hucknall Notts where we lived. My mum was the youngest Huldah.I also remember your 'Gran' (My Aunty Harriet),Aunty Alice who lived in Wavertree,L/Pool if this is any help dont hesitate to contact me. I have a sister Jean who is still alive and lives in Long Eaton

Thanks for your reply, I would love to here more from you, Mum used to mention you, if I remember rightly you used to be in the police force I think, I visited Jean 2 years ago on a flying visit, through Nottingham, but have lost her telephone number, and I know she wasn't to well with her heart, I did here from Valerie breifly.
Mum passed away just over 2 years ago. Which was probably wasn't such a good time to start diggig into your past, leaving it a bit late to ask questions.
I have been trying for the last 2 years to trace the Pimlott and the Greens side of our tree. I have made some good progress on certian quarters, and dead ends in others.
I was contacted by someone who was, I think was your dads brothers granddaughter Tracey, and helped me fill in the Mellows side of your tree.
The last few months I haven't done much, as I haven't had much time, with the kids. It's more of a winters night project.
