Robert James Lewis Does anyone have any info on the history of my fathers family. Robert was born Aug 1921 in Lower Coronation Street, Monmouthshire. In England he was known as Jim but we don't know if he was called Jim or Robert in Wales. He had brothers called Richard, Ronald, Alfred and sisters called Naomi, Joyce and Elizabeth. Naomi was married to William (Bill) Hill) and had two daughters we think called Mary and Eileen Joyce. Joyce was bought up in Dr. Barnardoes Home in Barkingside, Essex and later married and moved to Nottingham and also had two daughters. We have found thru research our grandfather was John Anthony Lewis married to Mary Jane Travenen. Mary had a sister called Elizabeth Annie Travenen who married a man called Robert Evans and we think they also lived in Lower Coronation Street. Would be grateful of any help on this. Regards Jennie |
