Trying to locate any relatives etc of my Grandad Tom Hopps.He was born 26th August 1909 in Thornaby On Tees England.His Father was called James Robert Hopps and Mother Jane Anne(Formerly Randall)I am having a tough time with this tree and need all the help I can get.Also, I would love to hear from anybody who was born in Thornaby, Co Durham who knew the Hopps family. Appreciate any help Thanks Angela

Hello Angella my maiden name is Hopps my father was Alfred Hopps born Bishop auckland
12 september 1921 his mother was Alfred Raper his mother was Martha Pepper they had 3 other children
Ernie,Raper, Mary,Martha remarried again after Alfred her first husband died she married
Alfred's cousin Elias they had 2 children Arther and Alan they were born 1927 Arthur went on to become head of Durham County Police Constabulary
he married a Nancy Bell from leadgate consett they had a son called Geoffery whom went on to become a policeman l did not have very much to do with granma or Elias l was 2 years old
before l was ever taken to see grandma then after my dad was killed it was not very often that we went to see grandma even then to me l always thought that
we were never wanted but it had fitted around my mam working the only real contact that l had with my uncles was when they saw me Mary was the only one that came to see us and we went to see her I think that Grandad 's father was called
