Trying to find info on George Leopold Smith who was born in Prussia 1826 and moved to England with his parents when he was a year old he immigrated to Australia not sure what year and from what i gather was mostly around the areas of Yandilla and Toolombilla Queensland ? working on stations in the area he was married to Elizabeth Shaw and they had a bout 13 children most of who are buried around the Gympie area They separated / divorced and he went up to an island called Rita Island of Ayr queensland coast and Elizabeh remarried a REv James Fullerton If anybody has any info would be appreciated have been trying all avenues for a long time I also have two other surnmaes which I think might have been the name in Prussia but changed it when the immigrated to England or Australia They are Seelenmeyer and scheilenmere Good luck with all you research Cheers Dianne |
