JOHN FREDERICK BELL My GGUncle, John Frederick Bell, served in the 11th Battalion of The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consorts Own). He died of wounds on 28th March 1918. His approximate year of birth was 1895 (circa), unfortunately he wasn't registered at birth. He was born and lived in Hackney/Bethnal Green, London. Is there any other relation out there, if so, does anyone have a photograph of his Battalion perhaps or an individual photograph of John would be wonderful as I will be visiting his War Grave in France this year and would like to leave a copy. John was married to an Eliza S Adams (who re-married after John's death and became Hart). Regards, Lisa |
