Trying to find Williams

I am trying to find details of my g-g-g/father called John WIlliams. John married Margery Manning at St. Mary's. Portsea, in 1847. At that time John was a 'Greenwich Pensioner' and was a widower. John and Margery had several children: James Manning, born Stonehouse, Devon, 1848, died Havant/Hayling about 1909 Anne, born Portsea, 1851 John, born Portsea, 1853 (died young?) Sarah, born Portsea, 1856, married Samuel Watt (sailor) widowed, moved to Hayling and remarried. Thomas, born Portsea, 1859, possibly moved to north east of England. Alice Louisa, born Portsea 1862, married my g-g/father Frederick North at Hayling. Laura, born Portsea, 1865 I would be grateful of any information about any member of the family. I am particularly keen to find out where John Williams (senior) came from - census details suggest Swansea or Pembrokeshire. And would also like to know about his first marriage.
