I am trying to find information about my great grandfather Alfred Chapman. He was born about 1866 possibly in Hoxton. He went to Joye's School in Blackfriars. He married Charlotte Potter in 1886. He worked in the print variously as printer warehouseman, printer and stereotyper. Trouble is there are loads of Alfred Chapman's born 1865 - 1867, none in Hoxton and he has no middle name. Any ideas? They would be appreciated. |
