I am from Australia and I am trying to find John Chapman.A very common name I know, he married Jane Cliff..dates are unknown. I presume they came from the London area. I have traced my relatives in Australia and I have hit a brickwall when I try to find the parents of John Edward Chapman brn 1820 in London, England. John and Jane are listed on John Edwards' birth certificate but I can't find any other information on them. John Edward married Mary Robertson in London on 14 Feb 1849. They emigrated to Australia in 1850 along with some of Mary's relatives. If anyone has any information or any ideas..please please please get in touch. |
