I am trying to find Shelbournes for my wifes tree..I know that most of them are from the Liverpool/Lancs area..But I have infomation that tells me they all started back in Lincolnshire in the 1600's/1700's and spread out north towards yorkshire, west across to liverpool down to Shropshire and South Wales and also down to london and the counties below London..The problem I am having is the counties between Lincs and Lancs I know they come that way but as yet I haven't found the connecting family members..Anyone with Shelbournes in their family please drop me a line you never know you might have the info Im looking for.. Cheers Mark

Hi Mark,
My grandmother was a Shelbourn. Her name was Daisy and she had a Sister Joan. They were form a village called Harlexton just outside Grantham Lincs. Dont know if this is any use to you if so please let me know.
Thanks Sue
