Hello. I am searching for links to the Carr family of Oxfordshire. Richard Carr married Sarah Towers and had many children some with the most unusual names. One became famous and well known to the folks of Oxfordshire. He was John Richard Towers Carr born around 1811 and 3 x Mayor. My Great Great Grandmother Ellen Selina Carr born about 1824/25 St Giles was his sister. John Richard Towers Carr was married twice his first wife being Elizabeth Dodd and the second wife being Hannah Holiday who was some 20 years his junior. I would be most keen on hearing from anyone with links to this family of Carr. I am also in touch with another family member through Genes who also has a connection to this family. Regards Marion |
