I am trying to find the descendants of the children of James Jones and Elizabeth nee Hargraves, formely Bourne. James and Elizabeth travelled the country with a travelling theatre. James was an actor/comedian and Elizabeth was an actress. Their children were: Amy Isabel born 1878 Glanford or Brigg, Lincs Constance Maude born 1879 (my gt gt grandmother) Blanche born abt 1881 Clay Cross, Derbys James born abt 1884 in Nuneatin, Warks or possibly Munster. In 1901 Amy and Blanche were in Bristol living with their half brother Joseph Bourne and James was living in London with this half sister and her family Catherine EDITH Duval (nee Bourne). The Duval's were also Actors/Comedians. Amy and Blanche may have been skipping rope dancers. |
